Motion Control Online photography workshop — Shaping Time Through Motion
Welcome to Week 6, where you move beyond capturing a moment and begin controlling how that moment is experienced. Motion is one of the most powerful storytelling elements in photography. In this Motion Control Online photography workshop, you will learn how to either freeze action with precision or intentionally blur it to communicate energy, speed, and emotion. The goal is not simply to stop motion or show it—it is to decide how motion supports your image.

Objective: Freeze vs Blur
Every moving subject presents a creative choice. You can freeze it in a fraction of a second or allow that movement to flow through the frame. Both approaches are valid, but they communicate very different messages. In this Motion Control Online photography workshop, you will begin to recognize how your shutter speed choices directly affect storytelling.
Freezing motion isolates a single moment, revealing detail the eye cannot normally see
