Photography is more than capturing a moment—it’s about presenting your work in a way that creates impact, emotion, and connection. One of the most powerful ways to grow as a photographer is by participating in a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition, where your images are evaluated not just on creativity, but on technical excellence and presentation.👇

National & Local Photography Club Print Competition: Elevate Your Images Through Print and Professional Feedback
At the Power of Print Photography Club, we’ve designed a system that gives photographers at every level the opportunity to learn, grow, and showcase their work through both digital and print experiences. Whether your goal is to be published, receive expert critiques, or compete in a live setting, our structure mirrors the standards found in top-tier National & Local Photography Club Print Competition environments.

National & Local Photography Club Print Competition: Two Ways to Enter and Grow
Our club offers two distinct entry paths designed to help photographers develop both creatively and professionally. These options are intentionally structured to reflect the experience of participating in a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition, while also providing education and accessibility for all members.
The first option is our POP CREATIVE Monthly Educational Series CHALLENGE, which aligns with our quarterly printed magazine. Each month, members participate in weekly photo challenges focused on a central theme. These challenges are designed to push your creativity while reinforcing technical skills such as lighting, composition, and storytelling.
From these weekly submissions, select images are chosen for publication in our quarterly magazine. This gives members a real opportunity to be featured and recognized—similar to the exposure photographers receive when entering a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition at a higher level.

National & Local Photography Club Print Competition: Monthly Image Critique and Written Reviews
The second option is our Monthly Print Competition and Image Critique, designed for photographers who want to grow through detailed, professional feedback.
Members can submit up to 5 images per month directly in the Facebook group by using the appropriate hashtag format: Start with the category, followed by the month.
Examples: #portraitsmarch or #commercialmarch
This system keeps submissions organized while allowing you to explore multiple styles and categories each month.
If you're looking for feedback, each member receives one free image critique per month, with the option to receive critiques on up to 4 additional images for just $5 each. All critique images must be the same ones submitted in the Facebook group for that month and you must submit the online critique request.
Images are due by the 25th of each month.
What makes this experience truly valuable is the written professional review included with each critique. These reviews are delivered via email within 7–14 days and provide thoughtful, structured feedback modeled after the evaluation process used in a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition.
Get featured on the COVER of the magazine!
These entries are used to choose the cover image of the next magazine issue.
These written reviews are especially powerful because they go beyond surface-level feedback. They help you understand how your image performs in key judging areas such as impact, composition, technical execution, creativity, and presentation—skills that are essential when entering any National & Local Photography Club Print Competition.

National & Local Photography Club Print Competition: Bringing Your Work to Life in Print
While digital submissions are an important part of the process, print is where your work truly comes to life. Our competition is designed to encourage photographers to take that next step by transforming their digital images into physical prints.
Each month, members are invited to bring one of their reviewed images to our Monthly Meetup in Pensacola as a mounted or metal print. This experience closely reflects the environment of a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition, where presentation plays a key role in how an image is perceived.
Seeing your work in print allows you to evaluate details that may not be as noticeable on screen, including color accuracy, sharpness, and overall impact. It also helps you develop a deeper appreciation for how presentation influences judging outcomes in a National & Local Photography Club Print Competition setting.

National & Local Photography Club Print Competition: The Power of Fan Favorite Voting
One of the most exciting parts of our monthly meetup is the Fan Favorite Print Competition. During the event, all attending members have the opportunity to view the printed images and participate in a live voting experience.
Each member receives access to an online voting form, allowing them to select the image that resonates most with them. This creates an engaging and interactive atmosphere while also reinforcing the importance of audience impact—an essential element in any National & Local Photography Club Print Competition.
(Note: Digital copy of entry is required by the 25th of previous month and YOU must bring the corresponding printed image to meeting for voting).
Winning Fan Favorite is not just about technical perfection—it’s about connection. It’s about creating an image that stands out, tells a story, and leaves a lasting impression. This combination of peer recognition and print presentation makes the experience both rewarding and motivating for photographers at all levels.
